As of July 4, 2024, Dr. Masanori Doi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of our company, has assumed the position of Director of the Nagao Natural Environment Foundation.
The following is Doi’s message on his appointment.

I am pleased to announce that I have been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Nagao Natural Environment Foundation.
According to the HP of the Foundation, it was established on November 21, 1989, based on private donations from Eijiro Nagao and his family, for the purpose of training the next generation of natural environment conservationists and supporting research for the conservation of the natural environment, mainly in developing countries in Asia and the Pacific region.

The late Dr. Yasuhiko Taki, my former university professor, used to be the chairman of this foundation, which has been involved in many activities related to aquatic biodiversity research and environmental conservation.
I think this is a good opportunity for me to contribute to the promotion of sustainable fisheries and aquaculture in developing countries, a theme I have been consistently working on, from a different perspective.
As you may have heard, INTEM has been supporting activities related to wetland environmental conservation as part of our CSR program, and I would like to make use of this experience as well (please refer to our CSR program on our website).

As with our regular business, we would like to continue to ask for your guidance and encouragement.
